We reserved multiple rooms for a local weekend event. The location had ample parking, nice rooms, and good food. However, the standout feature was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointing second stay. Melton room was not clean to BW standards, with cobwebs, stained carpet, and damaged walls. The shower room was also dirty and in need of attention.

Overall, our stay was satisfactory, with a very good breakfast. However, the poor design of the wet room bathroom was a major issue. The floor sloped away from the shower, causing water to collect across the entire floor and making it difficult to use the facilities without wading through. We raised this concern with the hotel, and they provided a partial refund as compensation. Otherwise, our rating would have been lower. Additionally, the church clock chimed throughout the night.
